Translating to “way of the bow” in Japanese, the Kyudo LED Floor Lamp from Kundalini frames one’s room in a beautiful arch. The Kyudo discipline dates back millennia and pulls from Zen philosophy. Creator Hansandfranz Design Studio brings an artistic approach to each piece. The floor lamp suggests modern sculpture in its room-wrapping silhouette. The piece offers a stationary arch and a sliding arch filled with LEDs. The sliding arch sports a diffuser lens to offer a uniform, glare-free experience. The long path of light can be slid out to rain a pleasant glow over a furnishing or kept close to the metal arch structure to enhance the room’s atmosphere.
