The Arturo Alvarez Kala Wall Sconce drapes layer by layer in form filled segments of sumptuous light. The piece is made in a painted steel mesh. Craftsmen shape the fabric-like sheet into a composition of intricate folds. Like the desert's fine grains of sand, highlights sifted through micro-perforations of its shade scatter all over the piece in an inspiring feat. The piece dazzles along its wall as clean lift fans organically up and down its openings.
