It is a very beautiful fan. The instructions are not clear and it was difficult to install. The light shade is not as advertised. We do not use the light because there is an issue with it. Also we didn't realize the remote is a wall remote not a portable one so extra installation for electrical work. We keep the fan on and do not touch it because it seems to turn off or delay if changed to different speeds.

Still cannot operate fan

I purchased the fan for my primary bedroom. Sadly, I did not realize that you had to purchase the remote separately. My power to the fan is direct power - a switch is not used. The fan I purchased only comes with a wall control. It would have been nice to know that I needed to purchase the remote separately. Now the remote is out of stock and I have no clue how the fan operates. So, I am just frustrated looking at this brand new installed fan that does not operate until the remote is back in stock. The remote should come with the fan at this price point.
