The Hugh Ceiling Fan

The first thing I noticed was the quality of this fan. If you're accustomed to the junk from the big box stores you'll be very surprised that fans are made with quality materials and good quality control. I chose this fan because I needed a hugger for 8 foot ceilings. It's in a 13x19 living room and provides more than enough breeze. Installation was a snap in a newer house with a three wire installation already existing. The fan is virtually silent. I wanted a fan with wall controls only, no remote, and I installed a fancy Lutron fan control and dimmer which work great with this fan. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because I would like a bit more light but in a living room we will probably have some table lamps or reading lamps so it's not a deal breaker. It's not dim by any means, just not bright (my eyes are getting old). The same light comes on the smaller version and I think that larger fans, intended for larger areas, should have brighter lights. I'm so pleased that I'm getting the smaller model for the master bedroom.

I like this fan, it's not exceptional, but an appropriate ceiling fan for smaller rooms at an affordable price. That exactly is reflected in the fan.

Great fan for a great price. Finding a fan that is not too modern and not too traditional and at a reasonable price is a challenge! We are very happy with our purchase and replaced every fan in our home.

Great fan! It was easy to install and the wall control is a nice feature, especially considering that many pricier fans only come with a remote control. I wouldn't rely on the light as the sole light source in a room but it is functional. The fan is very sleek and looks good. Will definitely buy the same fan for my other bedrooms.

My clients love this fan. It is clean, moves a fair amount of air and was reasonable priced. The electrician said it was easy to install, too!
