Plastic Blades- very disappointing

The fan I received had plastic blades, unlike the Koa wood, they claimed to be. Lumens was great with the return.

A beautifully made fan

This ultra quiet fan is not only engineered for great air flow, but it has several extra-convenience features. We especially like the magnetic mount for the remote control, i.e. put it in your pocket to take with you to adjust the fan and lights where you can actually see and feel the result immediately or use it like a wall-mounted switch where it's never misplaced. The fan blades are gorgeous and the fit and finish are highest quality. Thanks, Hinkley!

I installed this fan in my guest bedroom and I am very happy with it. It's VERY quiet and even on the lowest speed the room stays very cool.

I bought two of these beauties

The style of the fan is nice, but the quality does not seem on par with the price. The satin nickel finish looks like a spray can finish, giving the impression of a very cheap look. The blades are a faux finish plastic that don't resemble wood in the least. It's quite embarrassing, I must say. And to think I made this mistake twice in my guest house is incomprehensible. Ditch this fan , go straight to the Depot and get a fan for 50% less that looks 200% better.
