The Fungo Pendant from Venini is an unforgettable design from Massimo Vignenlli. This Italian-made winner of the Compasso d’Oro design award is at once direct and playful, with an unforgettable natural appeal. At once vintage and traditional, its mid-century structure is timeless, fashioned in the shape of an inverted mushroom from rich Murano glass, suspended from a single cable, and accented by fine vertical lines, inspired and interpreting the Tessuti vase family by Carlo Scarpa using glass rods to create a subtle and unique set of surface accents that distribute a mix of focused downlight and rich warmth that surrounds it.
