Flauta LED Outdoor Wall / Flushmount

Like the sounds coming from a flute, the light from the Flauta LED Outdoor Wall / Flushmount from FLOS is deep, impactful, and unique to the user. Renowned Spanish designer and architect Patricia Urquiola's work finds the unexpected connections between the familiar and the unexplored. Here, her sense of curiosity and love of observing makes the connection between the beautiful tubular shapes of organs and flutes with lighting. The lamp head invites a touch through a linear surface texture, evocative of an arrangement of organ pipes. With two openings for light to escape from, the head features a deflector accessory that can be mounted on either end. When turned on, LED light hits the deflector and escapes untouched to cast a dramatic ambient glow on the wall. The powder-coated aluminum construction lets the piece serve outside with robust weather-resistant properties.
