The Excel Double Wall Sconce from Roll & Hill draws inspiration from the repeating lines and colors of the software it was named for. A simple and elegant piece blending sleek metal and natural wooden tones, this sconce is mounted to the wall by a rectangular wooden backplate. Two drum-shaped steel shades in contrasting tones are held in opposite directions by short stems, creating an alluring glow that funnels downward.

Lovely design but ultimately too big for our space-

We had to return this fixture as it turned out to overpower the space it was selected for...walnut base lovely and colors very fun. Also the shades both rotate to give it some aiming ability...high quality but needs a large wall to have the desired effect.

I bought this sconce many months ago and only recently had it installed. It IS larger than you think, and I was concerned it was perhaps too large and almost returned it. I am so glad I didn't because it is absolutely perfect. Elegant and functional. It was installed in our guest bedroom on the wall by a full size bed. A great purchase! You will love it!

After really honing in on the measurements and realizing it was larger than I realized, I almost didn't order it. Then, when I received it, I had even more doubts. However, I decided to go with it and had it mounted on the wall above the headboard of a full-size bed and LOVE it! It is SUCH a cool design.

More Furnishing Than Fixture, thanks Roll and Hill!

In the derth of lighting products out there, Roll and Hill provides hope that creative architecture can extend to lighting fixtures. I plan to use this above my vanity mirror in my bath, and I could not be more excited about it. It feel heavy, looks susbtantial, and will be a true accent piece rather than just a lighting fixture that fades into obscurity. Feels more like a "furnishing" than a fixture.
