Modern, minimalist and monolithic. The Pablo Cortina Floor Lamp complements any number of contemporary interiors with a tall rectangular tube of Clear polycarbonate set on a Silver cast iron base. The two uplights within are shielded by panels of translucent White polyester mesh, which also effectively diffuse their light up and outward. Available in three sizes.

The lamp had two small defects, we sent in photo's and they replaced the lamp within 2 days. We are ordering another lamp from them now, due to such good customer service.

My wife loves it

While my wife almost adores this light I have to admit that I still have my reservations - primarily because I am concerned about the long-term durability of this light. Having said this, the light diffusion is excellent and the intensity as well (can be regulated via dimmer). At this price range it is very good value.

Beautiful but slightly wobbly

Arrived very quickly and in undamaged condition, so kudos to YLiving! Like other reviewers have said, this floor lamp is best suited for hardwood floors (where it's less likely to topple over) and homes that don't have playful kids or pets. While the base of the lamp is quite heavy, the way the shade fits onto the base leaves the lamp a bit shaky. (The taller the lamp, the shakier.) You could glue the shade to the base of the lamp, but then you'd have a very difficult time changing the halogen bulbs and removing the shade to clean it (as dust easily collects on the inside). Overall, though, the dimmer feature is great and the Cortina lamp is very aesthetically pleasing.

Elegant Simplicity

72" lamp fits neatly in alcove, corner or niche. Dimmer provides much desired flexibility re: illumination. If floor isn't level and carpeted this may not be the lamp for you. Height decreases stability. Otherwise quality material and design is exceptional for the price.
