After searching high and low for a low-clearance fan that fit the aesthetic of our house, I finally chanced upon the Cirrus and could't be happier with the product. The halogen globe light is a nice brightness for our bedroom and is dimmable. Installation was easy. Highly recommended.

We got two of these in the base configuration (remote control, no light) and installation was pretty easy. Just make sure you come prepared with a stable ladder and if possible a second pair of arms to hold the fan while you try to loop in the little suspension cable (a bit fiddly with one of the fans we got since some internals were glued too close to the hook).
I am not giving 5 stars because both fans we got have a slight whirring noise which is audible at the low speed setting. Not a deal breaker, but our neighbor has a slightly larger model which is completely silent, so that is the benchmark :)

I love my Cirrus fan. I had one before in my previous house and when we moved, our ceiling was not as high, so I bought the hugger. Its design is clean and classic. I had the previous one for 8 years in my previous house, so I plan to use this one for long time.
