Simple Fan Light Kit

I have recently purchased a condo in Newport RI and the 3 previously installed ceiling fans did not have the light kit. I searched the brand of the fan and lo and behold the fans came with a light kit. I promptly ordered 3 kits and they arrived within the week and they were easy to install. A simple removal of the cap and a quick plug in of the light fixture and then there was LIGHT. Love it! To bad it was sold separately...

I installed 2 on these on ceiling fans on my porch. They give better light than the can lights on either side. There are a bit tricky to install give the close clearances for wiring but with patience anyone one with wiring experience can do it, Dimming function works well and if you sent up the remote correctly you can run more than onee light from a single remote.

This is a great looking light but unfortunately it stopped working shortly after we got it. Called the manufacturer and they sent a replacement "brain" right away after assessing the issue on the phone. We are waiting for our electrician to come back to fix. So, hopefully no more problems. We bought 4 other Minka aire ceilings fans for our remodel and so far no issues. They all look very stylish and go great with our decor. I would give it 5 stars if it hadn't been for the brain issue but it could have been this particular light/ceiling fan was a bad apple maybe. Who knows but I am not worried about it. These are great fans and lights. I would recommend pulling up the electronic instruction manual that is unique to each ceiling fan/ light bc for a while we didn't know how to adjust the light brightness or change frequency on each fan so one remote doesn't control all the fans. Ha ha, instructions are very useful.

Purchased this to put on MinkaAire Simple 52" 3 Blade fan. Works perfectly. Direct fit.
