The Blauet Story
Blauet Lighting was founded in 1983 in Barcelona, Spain as a retail lighting store before eventually evolving into design and manufacturing. Its niche was refined contemporary lighting--simple and user-friendly--for upscale hospitality settings.
After achieving worldwide success with its comfortable contemporary line, Blauet has extended itself into more experimental territory with modern lighting by forward-thinking designers like Joan Lao, Jonathan Daifuku and Josep Llusca. Today, Blauet Lighting is distributed in the US by another Spanish lighting designer, Estiluz, Inc., based in Moonachie, New Jersey.
Why We Love Blauet Lighting
Blauet Lighting is contemporary European lighting that everyone can enjoy, regardless of their exact taste. While designed especially for hotels and restaurants, the clean lines, soft tones and user-friendly features of Blauet light fixtures make them welcome additions into any modern residence as well. Blauet's lighting finds its home in living rooms, the dining room, bathrooms and in the bedrooms on either side of the bed. Although casual, the restraint and sophistication of these fixtures also give them an unexpectedly sexy sensibility.
A Fun Fact About Blauet
