The crisp lines and cool tones of Scandanavian design influenced Cristian Diez in his creation of the Marset Olav Pendant. The shade is a cylinder of blown Opal glass over translucent polycarbonate. In addition to providing superior downlight, Olav has a flared metal holder above that acts as a unique diffuser, catching and reflecting the frosty light outward.

Marset is a Barcelona-based company dedicated to creating warm contemporary lighting with a underlying sense of comfort and character, enhancing otherwise impersonal residential and commercial spaces. The Marset mood is minimalist, subtle, with an aesthetic appeal that stems from an "illuminate, not dazzle" philosophy.
