The Monte Carlo Fans Story

Hub Markwardt and Mike, his son, started Encon in 1996 and created Monte Carlo Fan Company, now known as Visual Comfort Fan and Generation Lighting, as a division of Encon Fans. They were dedicated to changing the perception of the ceiling fan from a simple functional appliance to an attractive functional fan accessories. Monte Carlo became part of Seagull Lighting Productions in 2000 and is currently located in Riverside, New Jersey.
