But if you snooze, Clocky will jump off your nightstand and wheel around your room looking for a place to hide, beeping all the while. You'll have to get out of bed to silence his alarm. Clocky is kind of like a misbehaving pet, only he will get up at the right time.

Clocky is kind of like a misbehaving pet, only he will get up at the right time.

Nanda was started by Gauri Nanda when she was a graduate student at the MIT Media Lab. The Clocky alarm clock evolved out of Gauri's own need for an alarm clock that wouldn't let her snooze repeatedly. She created a prototype for a class project and a flurry of unexpected attention ensued.
