Named for the birch tree that dots the Swedish landscape (and not the avant garde singer), the Design House Stockholm Bjork Stool "is a natural part of the Bjork collection, just like the stumps in a birch forest. It is a piece of furniture that is light and soft in its expression," says designer Lena Bergstrom. The color tones of Bjork create a marbled effect through a warp of cotton intertwined with a weft in wool, known not only for its softness, but also for its built-in resistance to soiling thanks to its natural oils.
