The Period Arts Altus Ceiling Fan with Optional Light provides refreshing air circulation while enhancing interior decor with an attractive design inspired by early 20th century craftsmanship. The Altus Ceiling Fan with Optional Light features an energy-saving compact fluorescent lamping option.

The Period Arts Fan Company, headquartered in Ashland, OR, designs and manufactures ceiling fans that expertly combine modern technology with original interpretations of late-nineteenth century and early-twentieth century architectural, interior, and product design movements.

The Period Arts Altus Ceiling Fan with Optional Light is available with the following:

Included Features:

Dark Bronze body finish.
Three blades.
One ceiling canopy suitable for installation on flat ceilings and sloped ceilings up to 33 degrees.
One 5 in. and one 17 in. downrod.
Reversible.
UL Listed.

Options:

Blade Diameter: 42 in. or 52 in.
Blade Color: Black, Mahogany, or Maple (shown).
Lamping: Compact Fluorescent, Incandescent or No Light (shown).

Please Note: Fans with either the Fluorescent or Incandescent option provide diffused lighting through an Opal Glass diffuser.

This fan does not use a pull chain. It is controlled through either hardwire switches or remote controls, as detailed below:

Control Options for Altus Ceiling Fan:

Fan Speed Only: A basic fan control used to operate a fan only, providing four speeds.
Handheld Remote Control: Designed for independent operation of a fan and light using only one circuit (two wires). Provides three speeds and full range dimming and comes with a wall hanging bracket. Fluorescent option is non-dimmable.
Three Wire Fan and Light Control: Intended for operation of a fan with light, providing four speeds and full range dimming. Requires two circuits (three wires.) Fluorescent option is non-dimmable.
Two Wire Fan and Light Control: Designed for independent operation of a fan and light using only one circuit (two wires). Provides three speeds and full range dimming and wires into wall box. Fluorescent option is non-dimmable.
No Control: Choose this option only if you want a Ceiling Fan shipped without any of the other control options listed.
Wall Control With Remote Handset: A combination control package including the #004 Fan & Light Control and the #003 Remote Control handset. Provides three speeds and full range dimming from wall control and compatible remote handset. Fluorescent option is non-dimmable.

Lighting:

Compact Fluorescent: One 26 Watt 120 Volt non-dimmable Type GU24 Compact Fluorescent lamp (not included).
Incandescent: One 75 Watt 120 Volt Medium Base dimmable Incandescent lamp (not included).

Please note: The diffuser adds an additional 5 in. to the overall length.
