The Artek A810 Floor Lamp derives its shape from the same model as its slightly earlier sister model, A809. Both lamps were chosen for Villa Kokkonen, the house of the composer Joonas Kokkonen, one of the most famous 20th Century composers in history (Alvar Aalto, 1967-1969). The design features hand-riveted shades that offer diffused illumination and can be controlled individually via on/off pull cords.
