The Artemide Tolomeo with Shade Table Lamp combines the look of the traditional lamp shade with the modern technology of fully adjustable, bright task lighting. Designed by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina, the Tolomeo design received the Compasso d'Oro award in 1989 for Italian Industrial Design.
Since 1959, Artemide has created a wide array of modern table lamps, floor lamps, wall sconces and suspensions. Technologically advanced, and with styles ranging from clean and refined to sculptural and avant garde, many Artemide designs--especially the Tolomeo and Tizio--have become icons of contemporary lighting design.
The Artemide Tolomeo with Shade Table Lamp is available with the following:

- Shade remains vertical regardless of arm angle
- Anodized aluminum articulated arm structure
- Polished die-cast aluminum joints and tension control knobs

Options:- Mounting: In-Set Pivot (die-cast aluminum), Table Base (9" diameter, weighted steel with stamped aluminum cover), or Table Clamp (die-cast aluminum).
- Shade: Pale Grey Satin with Polycarbonate Fiber Blend, or Parchment Paper.
Lighting:
One 75 Watt 120 Volt A19 Medium Base Incandescent lamp (not included).
Please Note: Maximum thickness of desk or table surface for clamp option is 2.75".
