Stilt Floor Lamp

This is a wonderful lamp! Stylish, yet affordable. Modern, yet functional. Highly recommend it.

Recently I took the plunge and bought this lamp after admiring it for years. Walnut base is a real wow, but red cord was frayed where mfg attached looped cord when packaging. Be aware: shade is a clean white when not lit...just like every picture you can find of this lamp - on Lumens or Google. But when you turn it on...bring on the golden tones. Nope, not the bulb, different bulbs & color temps have no impact. It's the outer shade fabric. Somehow both the liner and shade are WHITE until you turn it on. A big disappointment since I bought it for it's modern appeal. Yes,$50 will buy a new shade...but that's a hard pill to swallow for a $500 lamp, and it uses an uno attachment, which is hard to find. So, if you're thinking about this lamp - be sure you're ok with a golden shade glow, not white or with shelling out another 50 to replace it. Base still gorgeous though, otherwise it wouldn't be worth this hassle.

They purchased these for my office and studio. The lamps look great and have a modern vibe that works well with the interior decoration they did for my office. I think they are pretty cool.

The lamps looks super nice, but I was disappointed in the weight of the item. I do not recommend it in high traffic areas or if you have kids. It's very lightweight and can easy tip over. Also the shades were two different colors, but the manufacturer did send out new shades. I will be installing them this weekend at my client's place. They did send out the shades, but it did take couple weeks to get them.
