The Ingo Maurer Prototype Floor Lamp sets the standard for purely original and superiorly functional lighting. The pared-down modern design is adjustable in just about every way. The base rotates 360 degrees, the arm can be raised and lowered 90 degrees and the studded silicone shade swivels through 100 degrees. Designed by Maurer and Bernhard Dessecker.

More experimentalist than anything else, German designer Ingo Maurer continues to surprise and exceed expectations. By using a wonderfully bizarre mix of found and created objects to create his capricious masterpieces, Ingo Maurer has become a pioneer in repurposed and environmentally enlightened lighting designs.

Please Note:
The gradual yellowing of the shade is due to natural aging of the material and is a deliberate feature of the lamp.

Care Instructions:
The silicone shade can be cleaned with soapy water; other parts may be wiped with a damp cloth.
