The George Kovacs P066-7 Floor Lamp pays respectful tribute to the millennia-old tradition of Asian calligraphy. Light glows through the rectangular white vinyl shade, highlighting the pattern that resembles such artistic writing. The shade is set on top of a rectangular metal base, which is finished in a lovely, understated silver. Available in two sizes.

The creative and often humorous mid-century modern aesthetic of George Kovacs (1926-2007) made a lasting impression on contemporary lighting. The extraordinary George Kovacs lighting collection, which also includes pieces by Alecia Wesner, Karim Rashid and other mid-century modern lighting designers, is now part of the Minka Group.
