Maximum light with minimum effort. The Ingo Maurer Max. Up & Down Pendant was designed by Maurer to shed a wide wash of downlight with its simple dome-shaped aluminum shade. Its height is easily adjustable via the black cylinder on the cable, which functions as a handle, and the unique cable coiling mechanism in the ceiling canopy. The shade is available in polished Chrome or clean White.

More experimentalist than anything else, German designer Ingo Maurer continues to surprise and exceed expectations. By using a wonderfully bizarre mix of found and created objects to create his capricious masterpieces, Ingo Maurer has become a pioneer in repurposed and environmentally enlightened lighting designs.
