The Modern Fan Altus Hugger Ceiling Fan, designed by Ron Rezek, creates air circulation that refreshes and revives in rooms with low ceilings. The Altus Hugger Ceiling Fan is part of a collection of elegant and sophisticated fans that blend modern form with classic function.

The Modern Fan Company celebrates the modern idiom through mechanical simplification, geometric forms, and contemporary finishes.

The Modern Fan Altus Hugger Ceiling Fan is available with the following:

Included Features:

Reverse Switch: Hardwired into fan body.
UL Listed for damp locations.

Options:

Body Finishes: Brushed Aluminum (shown) or Gloss White.
Blade Diameters: 36 in., 42 in., or 52 in.
Blade Colors: Aluminum (shown) or White.
Light Options: Fan with Compact Fluorescent light, Fan with Incandescent light, or Fan without light (shown).
Fan-with-light option provides diffused lighting through a mouth-blown Matte Opal Glass diffuser. Compact Fluorescent version utilizes one 26 Watt 120 Volt PL-T lamp (included); Incandescent version utilizes one 75 Watt 120 Volt A19 lamp (not included).
Control Options for Altus Hugger Ceiling Fan with Light:
No Control: Choose this option only if you want an Altus Hugger shipped without any of the other control options listed. (This option is for those who already have control options in place.)
Fan Speed and Light Control: Provides 4 speeds and full-range dimming. Fluorescent comes with non-dimming version. Cover plate in White, only. Mounts to standard junction boxes. Requires 2 circuits.
Handheld Remote Control: Provides 3 speeds and full-range dimming. Fluorescent comes with non-dimming version. Wall-mounted storage bracket (included).
Wall Mounted Remote: Provides 3 speeds and full-range dimming through radio frequency, just like a handheld remote but permanently mounted to a standard junction box. Fluorescent comes with non-dimming version. Cover plate in White, only. Requires 1 circuit.
Wall/Remote Combo: A combination control package including our #004 Fan & Light Control and our #003 Remote Control handset. Provides three speeds and full range dimming from wall control and compatible remote handset.
Control Options for Altus Hugger Ceiling Fan without Light:
No Control: Choose this option only if you want an Altus Hugger shipped without any of the other control options listed. (Since fans from Modern Fan don't utilize pull chains, this option is for those who already have control options in place.)
Fan Speed Control: Provides 4 speeds. Cover plate in White, only. Mounts to standard junction boxes.
Handheld Remote Control: Provides 3 speeds. Wall-mounted storage bracket (included).

Compact Fluorescent option utilizes one 26 Watt 120 Volt Type GU24 Compact Fluorescent lamp (included).
Incandescent option utilizes one 75 Watt 120 Volt Type A19 Incandescent lamp (not included).
