Tizio Task Lamps are a modern classic and included in the permanent 20th Century Design Collections of the New York Museums of Modern Art and the Metropolitan Museum.

This is the original 1972 Classic Tizio Task Lamp. It provides task light and features fully adjustable, balanced electrical conductor arms in anti-corrosion treated Aluminum. The arm spacer bars are in Chromed Steel with Red Molded Thermoplastic insulators, and the counterweight is in Metal Alloy. The adjustable diffuser is in Die-cast Aluminum with an inner high-efficiency diffuser in Annodized Aluminum, with UV bulb protective glass. The 360 Degree rotatable base in Die-cast Aluminum with incorporated low voltage transformer and two-intensity on/off switch. It is available in Black, Silver Grey or White finish. Shown in Black finish. One 50 Watt 12 Volt GY6.35 Bi-pin Halogen lamp (included). Also available in smaller sizes. UL Listed. Designed by Richard Sapper in 1972-1998, 2000. Made in Italy.
