A cylinder made of Wood acts as the piece’s frame, with its natural finish imbued with organically occurring grains and blemishes. Several bulb shaped shades made of Glass jut outward from the stem, making the piece subtly resemble a tree.
With designs inspired from the land around hollis+morris in Toronto, Canada, they were founded by Mischa Couvrette, who chose to name the company based on an intersection in Halifax. Hollis+Morris provides a variety of furniture and lighting pieces handcrafted out of solid wood and a variety of metals. Each piece is named after local neighborhoods in Toronto, making each piece feel more personalized and cozy.
