Designer David Adjaye leverages propping and balance to achieve a sculptural form that is truly one-of-a-kind. The Washington Skin Nylon Chair by Knoll features a unique prop-leg design that is reinforced internally with a cast aluminum brace and over-molded with nylon. Constructed from injection-molded, glass-reinforced nylon with a geometric lattice overlay, the shell and legs are cast in three parts and are connected using mortise + tenon joinery and stainless steel fasteners. Integral glides on each leg offer elevation and enhanced protection.
