Key Features
Designed in 1962, the Wally Cesta Wall Sconce from Santa & Cole is a piece of visual comfort, pairing its nurturing light with architecture-complementing lines. Spanish design icon Miguel Mila’s love for inventing things drives his work. Here, Mila synthesizes the essential components of a rattan basket and traditional lantern into a wall-mounted luminaire. The indoor or outdoor piece mounts to the wall with a brief linear backplate. A ring protrudes to wrap the opal lampshade like a rattan strand for a graphic silhouette. This charming shade minimizes glare and displays golden hues. A warm ambient light exits to glaze the surrounding walls.
Santa & Cole is a Barcelona-based company established in 1985 by Javier Santa, Gabriel Cole and Nina Maso. Their focus is on industrial design and seeking out modern light fixtures that provide more than just mass or function and thus instill a sense of serenity, culture and well-being.
