In 2005, Lella and Massimo Vignelli needed casual contemporary furniture for their home in Sorrento. So they designed some. The Heller Furniture Vignelli Low Table is one of the resulting pieces. It is a large coffee table that's made out of roto-molded polyethylene, which makes the table at once strong, relatively lightweight and suitable for use indoors and out.

Heller is an international furniture manufacturer known for their original contemporary designs and reissues of modern design classics from the 1960s and '70s. Founded in 1971, they seek to combine good design with industrial production in order to offer modern furniture at prices accessible to the largest number of people possible. Over the decades, Heller has collaborated with renowned designers like Vico Magistretti, Frank Genry and Mario Bellini to use new materials and methods to create innovative and exciting products.
