In Japanese, Ukiyo means "Floating World," referring to the pleasures of urban life during the Edo period. Designed by Manuel Vivian, the AXO Light Ukiyo G Ceiling/Wall Combo also evokes pleasure while showcasing its Asian contemporary sensibilities. A solid fabric and a netted overlay are stretched together across the large multi-dimensional square frame. Available in three solid/netted fabric combinations.
Started in 1996, Axolight is an Italian lighting company that designs and produces high-end contemporary lighting products. Each piece is handmade in Scorzè, Venice, Italy whether standard or a custom, bespoke piece. In 2018, Axolight launched its first sustainable product made of recycled nylon, glass fiber and aluminum.
