- Oiva Toikka created his first Bird in 1972. Since then, the Birds by Toikka series has grown to include over 400 finely feathered figurines. At least one new bird (and now also an egg) joins the collection every year. Every bird and egg are individually mouth-blown, giving each its own unique detailing and personality.
