That first sip of coffee in the morning can be magic (or "taika," in Finnish). The Iittala Taika Mug makes it even more so. The vibrant animal and tree pattern is modeled on traditional Scandinavian motifs. Baked into the hard-wearing ceramic of this mug, it is made to last and enliven many a sleepy morning. Designed by Klaus Haapaniemi.

From humble beginnings as a small glass factory, today Iittala offers a wide variety of modern Scandinavian housewares that demonstrate the company's commitment to design quality and product longevity. Based in Helsinki, Finland, Iittala continues to make cookware, tableware and other home accessories that are both lovely and useful, based primarily on the forward-thinking philosophies of design icons Kaj Franck and Alvar Aalto.
