Key Features
A clean design beaming with light and curiosity. The Squiggle Floor Lamp from Rotaliana by Luminart leans against your wall, producing an intriguing glow shaped by a striking exoskeleton pattern. This ingenious piece reflects the technology and functionality forward approach of designer Paolo Rizzato. The idea for the piece dropped into Rizzato’s head as a child when he saw the 1951 neon installation by Lucio Fontana for the 9th Triennale of Milan. While the neon installation’s featured bent tubes of light, this piece is a sharper take using a vertical composition. A strip of LEDs follows the direction of the metal exoskeleton, wrapped in irregular hexagonal shapes. The LEDs turn on to accentuate the hexagonal shapes in silhouette and the linear structure. Light filters out as an inviting and spacious aura.
With a commitment to environmentally conscious lighting, Rotaliana by LUMINART fixtures embody the best of Italian design in a way that maintains everyday utility. Signature lighting collections from Rotaliana by LUMINART include its Squiggle collection, featuring neon linear suspensions and floor lamps, and the Dina collection of LED pendants and table lamps, both available in an array of finishes. Its Capri collection includes table, floor and suspension lamps with laser-cut aluminum shades that evenly diffuse light.
