Please your eyes and your ears with the sound-dampening construction of the Slab P20 Mini Pendant 277V from ANDlight. Designer Lukas Peet created the piece when he increasingly became aware of the pestering ambient noises we experience in rooms. With an inventive mindset that rethinks familiar objects, Peet looked to the pendant as a solution for sound reduction. Using industrial-grade 100% natural Merino Wool, Peet creates a textured, rounded body that’s so slim it’s hard to imagine how it delivers so much functionality. For a contrasting edge, a clear acrylic panel moves along the bottom, letting a crisp light escape through. Powered by an efficient 227 volts for great energy needs, LEDs shine through the acrylic as a clean ambient glow. The blend of ambient light and sound dampening wool creates a truly welcoming space.
ANDlight was formed in 2013 by three partners dedicated to producing progressive original designs from their headquarters in Vancouver, Canada. Products are conceived, designed, built and finished in-house with an eye on efficiency and responsible innovation.
