interesting statement piece
Lamp gives off a cool white light, something to consider ahead of time. For us, does not match lighting tone in rest of room. Interesting piece, does not give off a lot of light, really to be used as a statement than actual lighting. Foot on/off button sticks. Will have to look online for suggestions on how to manipulate its shape.

Beats my old Lava Lamp!
This floor lamp is even more fun than advertised: the Cool factor cannot be overestimated. Our 1 bedroom condo in Chicago strives for a modern look, and the S7 does it right. As a 60 yr old woman, I was able to cary the S7 in its cleverly designed carton. I was able to assemble it in minutes, being careful to configure the lamp slowly to be sure it balanced. As a Liberal Arts major with no technical ability, it was quite easy. The composite material looks like steel and is moldable into different configurations. The LED head plugs in easily. The foot control gives it 5 intensities. The floor lamp is light enough for me to move with one hand. Is this floor lamp for you? If you have several active small children and a big dog, know that the lamp is stable but can be knocked over by a determined child. Since it is light, it can be stored in a closet until the kids go to bed. Also, to make the lamp stable, the bottom loop needs to be a minimum of 80 centimeters. You don't want to put it behind a couch, because you will want to change configurations. This is truly a well-thought out product by a forward- thinking team, and it will appeal to those who love simplicity, elegance and minimalism from the box to the assembled product. The S7 LED floor lamp is the right kind of different, and we plan to get a second one soon.
