The Print LED Pendant from RBW is a delicate yet dazzling design, offering an elevated take on the classic globe. It’s a piece by Sylvain Willenz, a designer creating pieces that balance traditional craftsmanship with innovative industrial techniques. This balance reveals itself in the quilted texture of the bottom diffuser. The diffuser’s pattern of diamonds softens up the light and helps it spread out evenly. The surrounding opaque globe enhances the graphic diffuser with a clean, opaque surface. When turned on, the LED light gives the globe a golden glaze. Light streaming through the texture-rich diffuser creates a mesmerizing silhouette and a soft down glow.
A take-off on the three design partners' names (Theo Richardson, Charles Brill and Alexander Williams), RBW is a team that can stand to do a little bragging (although they never would). Established in 2007, Rich Brilliant Willing has achieved amazingly swift and widespread success with their modern lighting, furniture and home accessory designs.
