Key Features
Designed in the 80s for the influential Hotel Praha in Prague, the Praha Multi-Light Pendant from Lasvit creates lively energy in the day or at night, with its mesmerizing rays of handcrafted glass. Designer Stanislav Libensky’s work professes his love for glass. The designer approaches glassmaking like a painter, balancing form, texture, scale, variety, and repetition. Here, Libensky displays a group of glass shades that share a layered, textured quality while differing in their curvy forms. The slender quality of these shades lets them bunch together for a tight, cascading silhouette. The metal hardware above and the fine rods sneaking through the glass add a quiet, elegant note in their metallic finish. LEDs cap off the piece at the base. The LEDs generate a warm, popping light for ambiance and table glazing.
Founded in 2007 in Liberic, Czech Republic by Leon Jakimic, Lasvit brings premier and sculptural glass arrangements to the world. Taken from the Czech words for ‘love’ and ‘light,’ Lasvit provides a series of glass lighting and home décor products crafted with utmost care and skill.
