A sophisticated composition of digitally designed folds on ceramics. The Pleat Box 24 Inch Pendant by Marset demands a closer attention. The crease on a piece of cloth is digitally designed and its silhouette is applied to a ceramic shade in a white finish. The interior of the shade is finished in white to reflect the light and enhance the effect. This work of art is the very first collaboration between Xavier Manosa, a master ceramicist from Barcelona, and the Mashallah design studio in Berlin.

Marset is a Barcelona-based company dedicated to creating warm contemporary lighting with a underlying sense of comfort and character, enhancing otherwise impersonal residential and commercial spaces. The Marset mood is minimalist, subtle, with an aesthetic appeal that stems from an "illuminate, not dazzle" philosophy.
