The seat made from die-cast aluminum attaches to a cone-shaped die-cast aluminum base with stainless steel fasteners. Unified by two concentric rings, the conical base guards against potential imbalance created by uneven floors by equally distributing weight so as to counteract the wobbling tendency of the stool's tripod legs.
