In contemporary spaces, the Artemide Pirce LED Flushmount adds mysterious, other-wordly style. Its design gives the impression of a spinning solar system, with a soft-sided aluminum disc cut into a column of tilting rings. A bright LED is housed in the bottom-most segment, shining upward and creating an intriguing play of light through the rings.

CRI = color rendering index. This number, which can go from 0 to 100, measures the ability of a light or bulb accurately renders colors. The higher the number, the better, with most quality bulbs these days measuring at least in the 80s.- 0-10V dimming is commonly found in new residential and commercial buildings. The dimmer sends out full voltage to the fixture, while the dimming is achieved by an extra 2 wires between the dimmer and fixture, carrying the signal telling the fixture to dim. Phase or 2-wire dimming is compatible with the wiring and dimmers commonly found in old households. It does not require dimming wires as the dimmer in the wall takes cares of reducing the voltage sent out to the fixture.
