The Cappellini Story
Founded in 1946, Cappellini is now led by Art Director Giulio Cappellini, an accomplished Milanese architect who, over the past few decades, matured the company into a global, innovative design leader. Recognized as a launch pad for emerging designers, Cappellini has realized many of the most iconic products from the likes of Jasper Morrison, Shiro Kuramata, Marc Newson, Marcel Wanders, Patricia Urquiola, Nendo, the Bouroullec brothers and many more.

Created by Dror Studio, it draws a careful course between art and more refined design that designer Dror Bershetrit is famous for, expressing technical expertise refined at the University of Eindhoven. The seat ascends from a base of powder-varnished metal, accented by a seat and shell-style back of folded felt that adds an element of stylized sculpture and avian presence to the seat’s surroundings.
