Pappelina

Pappelina is a Swedish rug design company based in Leksand, Dalarna, in central Sweden. Founded by Lina Rickardsson in 1999, the name Pappelina is a play on the words paper, linen and Lina. Each rug is woven from start to finish in the same weaving mill in Leksand to ensure quality and sustainability. With a variety of rugs made of PVC plastic, Pappelina is dedicated to sustainability. PVC is made of natural resources, is recyclable and has a long lifespan without emitting microplastic particles. Each rug produced by Pappelina follows the company’s philosophy of simple and functional design.
