The LZF Nut Pendant uses the most minimal twist and turn of a ribbon of wood veneer to create an elegant, intertwined silhouette. The simplicity of the shade's design creates an airy appearance, while the overlapping wood grain texture confers a pleasant warmth and glow. The Nut Pendant features a Natural timber wood veneer shade in a variety of colors and Brushed Nickel canopy.

Lumens

The amount of light that comes from a bulb, which has commonly been measured in watts. The more lumens, the brighter the bulb.

Wattage

A measurement of the power delivered to a component of an electric circuit (allowing a one-ampere current to flow through the component under the pressure of 1 volt.)

Bulb Shape

Bulb shapes are denoted with a letter, which describes the shape, and a number, which indicates the size. The number indicates the diameter of the light bulb at its widest part in eighths of an inch.

Base

The part of the bulb that connects to the fixture and its power supply. Bulb bases are denoted with the letter E, and a number which indicates the diameter of the bulb base at its widest part in millimeters.

Voltage

Indicates how much voltage a bulb can accept via the fixture it's installed in.

Light Color Temperature

The relative color from a light source, measured on the Kelvin temperature scale. Warm light is lower in color temperature (2700-3000 K) and cool, blue light is higher (5000 K).

Average Rated Life

The average amount time that a bulb is expected to last.

CRI

CRI = color rendering index. This number, which can go from 0 to 100, measures the ability of a light or bulb accurately renders colors. The higher the number, the better, with most quality bulbs these days measuring at least in the 80s.

Rated 2 out of 5 by patw from Misleading: Extra cord / ca not shown in photos I loved the style of the pendant in the product photos, like it was hanging in thin air. When we were in the lumens showroom, we asked the difference between E26 vs. GU24 and were told that there was no difference other than the bulb type. Unfortunately, that seems to be incorrect. The E26 (standard screw-in bulb) that we ordered has an extra cable descending to it which completely spoils the "Hanging in thin air" design aspect of this lamp. Instead, we have a messy plastic cable winding down along with the metal cable shown. None of the product photos show this cable and this seems like a clear oversight by the salesperson and the website description and photos.

We ordered the orange LED Nut Pendant to hang over our breakfast table in our open floor plan kitchen/family room/breakfast room area, and are thrilled with it. The orange is beautiful and goes very nicely with the wood trim in our breakfast room - the color not too bright - it reads as a warm medium tone orange - and is especially lovely when the light is on and illuminated from within - the light comes through the wood in varied intensity because the wood strips overlap in some places and don't in others. My one caution to potential buyers is that the wood is quite thin so the fixture is fairly fragile - I'm giving the "material" rating as 4 stars because of the fragility of the wood. Be sure to put it only in places where it won't get knocked around (and I'm guessing that's not very typical with hanging lights but maybe you've got boys who throw balls around inside your home?) Highly recommended.

Wish it were larger, and if you stand under it you can see the light bulb. The shade material at first seemed somewhat flimsy but it works perfectly once suspended. Great light - soft but plenty of illumination.

Our house has yet to be completed, and the pendant has not yet been installed, but it's a beautiful fixture, and we very much look forward to getting it hung and illuminated. It should soften the space without seeming compromising the contemporary look we're going for.

They are just so cool with a surface that looks like a slice of wood veneer. Light coming through is very good, you do not see the bulbs so it is bright enough to light up the surface but soft. Very artsy. Everyone loves them!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by picasso from nut pendant I purchased the nut pendant for our guest room. It is VERY elegant. Even though it is meant to be a hanging light and comes with a long cord, I used it as a ceiling light and suspended it only 6 or 8 inches. It has a very warm glow but still retains the look of wood. The light emitted is more for general ambience. You would need additional light sources if you were planning to read or wanted a bright overall light for the space.
