Key Features
Guiding the eyes from one light to the other like the stars of a constellation. Inspired by the star of the Sagittarius constellation by the same name, the Nunki No 4 Linear Suspension from Iacoli floats over one’s table surface as a nuanced arrangement of shape, light, and rich materials. The piece illustrates the Iacoli ethos of beauty, quality, and style. It streams down with a graceful pair of suspending down rods. A blown glass cylinder gets the eye scanning from one side to the other with crisp optics. Producing a pair of slender arms inside, a circular marble disc at the center adds a dash of classic elegance to the piece. Like the bright orbs in the night sky, globe-style bulbs cap the piece off to deliver radiant auras of ambient light.
Iacoli and McAllister make nice things. Very nice things. The pair take a reductive approach to design, toying with the balance of positive and negative spatiality while adhering to a core set of design principles that frame their collective process - proportion, scale, color and fabrication. Coupled with the duo's constant exploration of material mediums and various industrial processes, their seamlessly attuned sensibilities infuse the studio's work with a clean and chromatic Donald Judd-like minimalism.

A measurement of the power delivered to a component of an electric circuit (allowing a one-ampere current to flow through the component under the pressure of 1 volt.)Bulb Shape
Bulb shapes are denoted with a letter, which describes the shape, and a number, which indicates the size. The number indicates the diameter of the light bulb at its widest part in eighths of an inch.Base

Indicates how much voltage a bulb can accept via the fixture it's installed in.Light Color Temperature
The relative color from a light source, measured on the Kelvin temperature scale. Warm light is lower in color temperature (2700-3000 K) and cool, blue light is higher (5000 K).Average Rated Life
The average amount time that a bulb is expected to last.CRI
CRI = color rendering index. This number, which can go from 0 to 100, measures the ability of a light or bulb accurately renders colors. The higher the number, the better, with most quality bulbs these days measuring at least in the 80s.Manufacturer IDs: view
