Created by artisans in the heart of Marrakesh, Morocco, the Najma Pendant from Dounia Home blankets your rooms with a beautiful cast light defined by an exquisite pattern. The pendant exudes a timeless character as Dounia Home puts emphasis on fusing tradition with modern form. It pleases the eye with a clean suspension and a simple globe form. It then mesmerizes with a sea of perforations that have been individually applied by hand. Master artisans tighten up the holes with a traditional trellis pattern informed by ancient architecture. The pattern comes to life as light filters through and exits as a cast design on the walls nearby. While light comes over the top of the dome, another funnels through it as a versatile down glow fitting over your tables.
Dounia Home brings a slice of Moroccan tradition and modern ethical practices to their line of artisan-made lighting. Founder Dounia Tamri-Loeper brings her education and tenure with Michael Graves to her brand to offer insight into modern Moroccan art.
