Key Features
First drawn in 1972 by designer Louis Weisdorf, the GUBI Multi-Lite Pendant embodies classic Danish design with its multifaceted, geometric form and user-friendly functionality. Its body features two concentric cylindrical shapes which rest at the center of an open metal ring and are surrounded by two rotatable quarter-spherical shades. The adjustability of the shades allows you to transform the piece’s look and light output, ranging from an uplight to a downlight to an asymmetrical accent light.
In 2001, Jacob and Sebastian Gubi took over their parent’s furniture business, transforming GUBI in to an internationally recognized design house for lighting, furniture, and accessories. Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, GUBI is a purveyor of timeless and emerging designs, many of which are iconic and can be found in permanent collections around the world.
