Key Features
An iconic design made for you to touch. Create an ambiance to match the day’s mood with the beautifully rotating shades of the Multi-Lite Mini Pendant from GUBI. Studying under Danish icon Poul Henningsen, designer Louis Weisdorf came to share the ideas that a pleasant light is covered and informed by natural-feeling shapes. This piece highlights this idea as the core bulb is surrounded by stages of shades. Composed with Weisdorf’s trademark sense of movement and repetition, two quarter-sphere shades rotate along the axis anchored by a sleek metal ring frame. Two internal cylindrical shades add to the sculptural character of the piece in their tapering look. When the lights come on, the quarter shades direct light or diffuse it evenly to suit your preference. What’s left is a sophisticated silhouette and a warm, inviting aura.
In 2001, Jacob and Sebastian Gubi took over their parent’s furniture business, transforming GUBI in to an internationally recognized design house for lighting, furniture, and accessories. Based in Copenhagen, Denmark, GUBI is a purveyor of timeless and emerging designs, many of which are iconic and can be found in permanent collections around the world.
