In 2018, the MR Rattan Side Chair has been introduced again, where the side chair expands the Knoll MR Collection. This chair represents some of the earliest steel compositions by Miles van der Rohe, which frame materials were inspired by Bauhaus master Marcel Breuer. The contemporary shape is to be a modern descendant of the 19th-century iron rocking chairs.
