Fitting of its name, the Metropolis LED Wall Sconce from Juniper Design adds a dash of modern finesse to the private or public space. The inspiration for the piece is no stranger to the architectural background of David Meckley. Function comes first here; Meckley designs an ultra-low profile backplate that can be mounted vertically or horizontally. A sharp crossbar bisects the cylindrical shade in a beautiful demonstration of symmetry. The frosted cylindrical shade conceals the LEDs for a glare-free, uniform, airy glow. The light is ideal for guiding the eye or sharpening architectural features.
