Marco Albini

Born in Milan in 1940, Marco Albini is an Italian designer and the son of prominent Italian designer and architect Franco Albini. Known for his work with his father at Nemo, Marco Albini helped design a series of celebrated light fixtures in the 1960s alongside Franca Helg and Antonio Piva. He graduated from the architecture school at Politecnico di Milano in 1965 and was later appointed a professor of industrial design courses. Marco Albini is also a visiting professor for Cornell University’s School of Architecture, the New York Institute of Technology and Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri.
